A petty bourgeois Dutch interior from the 17the century, According to the chronological cinematography of the 35 paintings by Johannes Vermeer. A drama, behind the beauty of the facade, made up together with his neighbour Anthony van Leeuwenhoek: The disastrous story with a sad ending of the consumed, abused girl, finely veiled in mist.

It unravels through oil paint, image by image, 24 frames per second, the chronological connection, the sequence of the sacred story.
